GamePlay RULES

Use the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to press buttons and interact with the user interface.

The goal of the game is to make 999 money, you do so by selling monsters to customers. You start with 3 energy each phase.

In the day phase you harvest resources to build your monster. Each resource costs 1 energy to harvest (except for dark).

In the dusk phase you build your monster. It costs 1 energy to build 1 monster. A monster must have at least either 1 blood, 1 bone or 1 flesh.

In the night phase you sell your created monster to clients. Each sale costs 1 energy to make. Your sold monster must have stats greater than or equal to the stats requested by the client.

And finally, at dawn, you can purchase new upgrades and see your balance sheet. Then a new round begins!

You lose if you go bankrupt or if you fail to gain 999 money in 35 rounds.

Synopsis

You are Galateo, an ingenious mind set on creating the greatest monsters, ones that are built to scale kingdoms and countries. But what would they do? Curiously, villains, sinister coalitions and evil organizations are very interested in your "product". Your business is built to scale you are in the economies of scale.

About

This was made for the GMTK game jam of 2024 with the theme "built to scale". I interpreted the theme as the business which is scaling (costs and revenues) and monsters which are built and are scaling in strength.
